Amex Taj vouchers denied and non cooperation from Sales and Hotel staff

I did my booking through Sales person named Suresh Uadav for Norbu the Montana hotel in June end.
I sent him Taj Amex vouchers worth ₹40,000 in advance which he said were ok and will be processed.
Hotel front kept asking me about my plans to check in but no one mentioned that the vouchers expired.

At the time of check-in, hotel staff told me they couldn’t process them. I reached out to sales and hotel GM. Both didnt do anything.
1- why wasnt I told in advanvce that the vouchers would not be used for bookig as they would be expired?
2- What did they checked in the vouchers, if not the validity at that of hotel booking?
3- When i asked for early checkout, they refused and were non cooperative

Overall very poor booking and customer care experience
