Formal Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Extension of Loan Tenure for Vehicle (Reg. No. DL10CL4792)

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Kanchan Singh, son of Shri Ram Vinod Singh, residing at the above-mentioned address. I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an issue with the loan tenure and amount associated with my father’s vehicle, Tata Tigor XZ (Reg. No. DL10CL4792), which was purchased from your showroom in 2018.
At the time of purchase, we made a total down payment of ₹2,82,500/- and secured a loan of ₹5,00,000/- for a tenure of 5 years. However, I recently discovered that the loan tenure has been extended to 7 years, and the loan amount has been unilaterally increased to ₹5,50,000/-.
This alteration was made without any prior intimation—neither through email, SMS, nor any written communication—and without our consent. Such changes, made arbitrarily and without notification, are both unprofessional and unethical. This has also disrupted our financial planning, as we had budgeted to clear the loan within the originally agreed period of 5 years.
In light of the above, I kindly request the following actions from your side:
1. Immediate correction of the loan tenure to 5 years, as per the original agreement.
2. Waiver of any additional interest or penalties resulting from the unauthorized extension of the loan tenure.
3. A detailed explanation of how and why these changes were made without our consent or communication.
4. Provision of the original bill for the vehicle (Reg. No. DL10CL4792).
If I do not receive a satisfactory response within 7 days of this letter, I will be left with no option but to escalate the matter to Tata Motors’ Regional Office, the Consumer Forum, and the Banking Ombudsman.
I trust that you will take this matter seriously and address the issue at the earliest.
