REcently i booked a ticket from Pune to CHennai with Indigo to be travelled on 14th Dec 2024. Apparently after couple of days from the booking date, i received an email from Indigo stating that your booking is cancelled and refund is in progress. i was shocked to see that email, as i didnt cancel the tickets. I immediately reached out to airline and told them i didnt cancel the ticket and i still requested them to keep the ticket on and i want to travel as planned. But they didnt listen and processed refund after deducting nearly 50% of the orginal fare paid. this is a day light robbery by Indigo, as they cancelled my ticket, as they could not operate the flight on the given day(due to weather ) and they still charged cancellation charges from the customer.
I have decided not to book any flight with Indigo going forward and warn my friends as well to boycott Indigo flight…. request you all to share this with your friend’s circle on this blantant fraud and cheating by Goindigo airline
