Dear Sterling Motors Team,
I purchased a Tata Punch top CNG model on February 6, 2025, at 1:30 PM from your Nashik location near Pinnacle Mall.
Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. After taking delivery, I was driving with my family to the Ganpati Bappa Temple when the car stalled after only 3 kilometers, right in the middle of a busy intersection. The fuel gauge indicated the tank was empty. I was extremely disappointed that Tata Motors couldn’t even provide enough fuel for a short drive to the nearest petrol station.
I called the customer service number provided by your representative, but the woman who answered never responded to my calls for over an hour. My family and I were stranded for over two hours. When I finally reached my sales representative, he spoke to his team, but they refused to take any responsibility or offer assistance.
I am very upset with Sterling Motors. I paid over 10.5 lakhs for a car that I couldn’t even drive 3 kilometers without it breaking down. I was stranded in a busy intersection with my family, including my 18-month-old child. Your team denied any wrongdoing and refused to help. To make matters worse, I discovered that the first-aid kit was missing from the glove box.
How’s responsible for this situation and harassment?
Are these Tata Motors’ policies – to not provide fuel in a new car or to not include a first-aid kit? Who is responsible for the distress my family and I experienced?
I request that you take custody of the car and return my money as soon as possible. I do not want the car anymore.
Sincerely,
Mayur Patil
