After two years of ownership, I encountered an issue with a part covered under warranty. When I visited the showroom to claim the warranty, I was handed a repair bill of ₹50,000. Despite explaining my warranty coverage, I was told that I had to pay the bill first before filing a complaint. This process felt unfair and dismissive of the warranty assurances given during the purchase.
2. Service Damage:
During a routine service appointment at the same showroom, I noticed a scratch on my driver’s side door upon receiving my car. The damage appeared as if another door had hit my car’s door. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they apologized but offered no solution, leaving me to bear the consequences of their carelessness.
3. Repeated Complaints:
I attempted to reach Kia customer service multiple times, including using the UVO button in my vehicle, but received no assistance.
4. Wider Concerns:
Recently, I came across a reel on Instagram by the influencer page “kozhikode_to_you,” where many customers shared similar negative experiences with DKH Kia Calicut in the comments. This pattern of poor service is not only disappointing but also damaging to Kia’s reputation.
