I, Illipilli Raghu Babu, would like to bring it your notice that a tap connection was provided 20 years ago and the same was disconnected on the plea of pendency of water charges even without giving any notice. Owing to the disconnection, I did not apply for reconnection and no water service was provided since 2015.
Even there is no supply water and service is not restored, the water charges are being levied and when requested for removal of tap connection from records, the GVMC Officials demanded to clear the Charges levied till date(ref.2nd cited). Accordingly, I paid all the dues upto 31.3.2024 (ref.3rd cited) and requested to close the records. Since there is no proper response from the GVMC for the removal of tap connection, I filed an online complaint (ref 4th cited) but even then, no action is initiated by the GVMC to act upon. Further, I have visited many times to the Ward Secretariat and represented the same. But no action is initiated to remove the connection on record. This is nothing but causing loss and inconvenience to the Consumer, for which, there is no other go for me except seeing redressal through the Consumer Forum.
Finally, I request to take initiate action to close the Tap Connection Account in your records immediately to enable me to feel unstressed.
