Subject: Non-Settlement of Death Claim and Demand for Compensation
Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: Death Claim of Late Mr. Babulal H.
I am writing to bring to your notice the inordinate delay in settling the death claim of my late uncle, Mr. Babulal H., who passed away four years ago. Despite submitting all required documents, your bank has failed to settle the claim.
The bank’s continuous verification of documents, citing “rules and regulations,” is unacceptable and has caused immense mental torture to me and my family. We condemn this type of treatment meted out to customers, especially when it involves family inheritance property.
Therefore, I hereby demand:
1. Immediate settlement of the death claim.
2. Compensation of ₹25 lakhs for the mental torture and false information provided by the bank.
Please note that this is a final notice, and failure to respond within 15 days will compel me to initiate legal proceedings against the bank.
IPC Sections:
– Section 420: Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property.
– Section 421: Dishonest or fraudulent removal or concealment of property.
I hope the bank will take immediate action to settle the claim and provide compensation.
Sincerely,
A. Sunitha
