Sir/Madam,
I purchased a Tata Safari in Sept 2022 bearing no KA 50MB 5140 in Bangalore with a 5-year extended warranty. Right from the beginning there were minor issues like defects in driver seat belt lock system and right door passenger interior lock latch which was duly replaced in the 1st service by Prerana motors, Yelahanka, Bangalore.
However, defects in right door passenger interior lock latch persists from more than one and half year and the service assistants did not bother to replace it with spares as it did not come under warranty at the end of 1st year free service.
1. The assistant from key motors, Kanakapura road assured me of replacement for payment, but did not follow up for it. I did it call him up but was not of any help
2. Now, under Prerana motors, Yelahanka, Bangalore it is getting replaced but they say warranty will not apply.
3. sir, the problem persists but the warranty vanishes.
4. If this is the case with warranty, why one should buy 5-year extended warranty. Please check the service and complaint history.
Now, I am making payment and I request you to look into the warranty and refund of payments
