I am writing to bring to your immediate attention the severe road conditions at Salarjung Colony, Tolichowki Road, specifically the lane beside Shah Ghouse Hotel and Nice Juice Center. This issue has persisted for a considerable period, and despite repeated concerns from the local residents, no action has been taken.
The road in question is a crucial link connecting to the main road of Tolichowki and experiences a high volume of traffic daily. The current state of the road is deplorable and poses significant hazards to commuters, especially senior citizens, women, and young people. Numerous incidents of people tripping and falling have been reported, highlighting the urgent need for intervention.
The recent rains have exacerbated the situation, making the road even more dangerous and practically impassable at certain points. Attached herewith is a clip illustrating the current condition of the road for your perusal.
We request the esteemed officials of the GHMC to look into this matter urgently and undertake necessary road repairs to ensure the safety and convenience of the residents and commuters. Timely action in this regard would be highly appreciated and would prevent potential accidents and injuries.
