Dear BPCL
I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of concern regarding the services at the BPCL petrol station in Adyar. As a regular customer, I have consistently relied on your services for my fuel needs. However, I have recently encountered several issues that require urgent attention.
On my recent visit to the Adyar branch, I paid ₹100.76 for one litre of petrol, as displayed. However, the staff insisted that I pay ₹101 to receive a full litre of petrol. When I questioned this and spoke to the bunk manager, they confirmed that the cost of one litre of petrol was indeed ₹100.76. Despite this, I received only 99% of the promised volume when I paid ₹100.76. This discrepancy is concerning and affects the trust I have in your services.
Additionally, there have been instances where I paid ₹202 for petrol, expecting to receive exactly 2 litres. Despite this, the staff provided only 2 litres of petrol, with no consideration for the remaining 50 paise. Over the past six months, I have consistently paid ₹202 for petrol with the understanding that the 50 paise would be refunded. However, I have not received any refund for this amount.
I request immediate action to address the following issues:
Ensure accurate dispensing of fuel corresponding to the amount paid.
Implement a clear and transparent process for handling fractions of payments, such as 50 paise.
Review and correct any discrepancies in the petrol volume provided versus the amount paid.
As a loyal customer, I hope these concerns will be resolved promptly to restore my confidence in BPCL’s services. I look forward to your response and a swift resolution to this matter.
Thank you for your attention to this issue.
