Urgent- FRUAD Complaint Against Mahindra Param Wheels LLP (Makarpura, Vadodara, Gujarat)

Hello Mahindra Team,

I, Nilesh Parmar, reside in Makarpura, Vadodara. I am writing to express my deep frustration and concern regarding the unacceptable circumstances surrounding my car purchase at Param Wheels LLP, Plot No 986/32, GIDC, Ind. Estate, Makarpura Main Road, Vadodara 390010.

On the first week of September 2024, I booked a 3XO AX5 Manual car, and throughout the process, I was in contact with your salesperson, Yamini Ministry (7069014978). She has called me and informed me that my car has booked & ready to deliver to me on my delivery date13th Nov 2024.At the end of October 2024, I received a call from Yamini informing me that my car had been allotted to me and that I should proceed with the payment.

However, when I visited the showroom in the first week of November 2024 to pay the ₹1 lakh booking amount, I was informed by Sales Person Yamini that my car had been allotted to someone else. This was particularly disheartening as I had communicated multiple times that I needed the car delivered on November 13, 2024, for my daughter’s birthday.

I had to fight with the sales manager regarding this issue, and after long meeting with the manager, She confirmed that the car allotted to someone else would be cancelled and now reallocated to me.

Today (9th Nov), Yamini updated me on the financing policy, stating that I must take a loan from Mahindra Finance only. Initially, I was informed that I can take loan & Insurance from anywhere as per my convince, Also, Mahindra finance person has given me a rate of interest rate of 9%. However, I have now been quoted an interest rate of 11%, which is unacceptable.

Furthermore, Yamini is insisting that if I want the car, I must finance it through Mahindra at this increased rate. Initially, she offered me a discount of ₹15,000 at the time of booking, but now she is cancelling that discount, claiming that the price of the car has increased by ₹30,000. This contradicts her earlier statement where she indicated that the price had risen by ₹70,000 & i asked for bifurcation of Rs 70000 she is denied to provide the same.
To clarify, I booked my car for ₹1,227,311, which included all expenses such as insurance and RTO fees. Now, I am being told that if I want to proceed with the purchase, I must pay an additional ₹70,000, or my car will be reallocated to someone else.

I had planned to purchase the car in time for my daughter’s birthday, which is a significant occasion for my family. However, at the last moment, Yamini has created unnecessary obstacles by insisting that I must finance the purchase through Mahindra only, along with mandatory insurance and all accessories from your dealership. This is simply unacceptable.

I have made it clear that it is not mandatory to finance through Mahindra or to purchase insurance from the dealer, yet she refuses to acknowledge this. Instead, she continues to assert that these conditions are part of Param Wheels’ policies. This kind of inflexibility is both disappointing and unprofessional.

I expect better from a reputable dealership. It is unreasonable to impose such conditions, especially when I have been a loyal customer throughout this process. I urge you to review this situation and provide me with a fair and flexible financing option that allows me to proceed with my purchase without these undue constraints.

I am now being coerced into accepting conditions that were never disclosed to me at the time of booking. Yamini, along with her manager and the sales manager, is insisting that I must comply with these undisclosed conditions if I wish to receive the car in time for this significant occasion. This situation is not only unfair but also deeply frustrating, as I feel that your team is taking advantage of my circumstances.

I am attaching the booking offer and the quote provided by the Mahindra finance representative for your reference. It is clear from these documents that the terms I am being forced to accept were never part of our initial agreement & not mentioned anywhere in booking offer.

I am being coerced into accepting financing and insurance terms that were never disclosed at the time of my booking. This lack of transparency and integrity is unacceptable, especially as I am trying to secure a vehicle for my daughter’s birthday on November 13th.

Sales Person Yamini, she has failed to provide the necessary information regarding the car purchase process and has not been transparent in her dealings with me. Moreover, I was pressured by her to comply with demands that seem unreasonable, especially given that my daughter’s birthday is approaching on November 13, 2024. This situation has created a sense of urgency that is not aligned with a positive customer experience

I strongly urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation. It is unacceptable for your team to exploit customers who have planned important events around their vehicle delivery. As it stands, I will have no choice but to cancel my booking, which would unfortunately spoil my daughter’s birthday celebration next week, I have requested Yamini to refund my booking amount but she denied that my booking amount will not refund at the moment, will try to refund after 15 days if possible with deduction of charges.
Fraudulent practices at the Mahindra Param Wheels LLP showroom located in Makarpura, Vadodara. The following individuals have been involved in unethical behavior and are exploiting customers:

Yamini Mistry (Sales Executive)

Mahindra In House (Finance Lady)

Vishal (Sales Lead/Manger)

R. J (Sales Lead/Manager)

These representatives are creating deceptive situations during the final stages of the purchasing process and are attempting to charge customers extra fees for their personal profit. This behavior is unacceptable and undermines the trust and integrity expected from a reputable dealership.

I urge you to investigate this matter immediately to protect current and future customers from similar fraudulent practices.

If this situation is not resolved promptly and to my satisfaction, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter and file a case in consumer court for fraud. It is disheartening to see such practices in a reputable establishment, and I urge you to take strong action against those involved to prevent further exploitation of customers.
