Dear Ombudsperson.
Today @ 14:30 I called Airtel customer care from my mobile number to purchase a new WIFI
connection at Changodar ( Ahmedabad). Airtel executive Ms. Pallavi (Who is in your selling team of new WIFI Connection), asked me to pay 1000/- in advance through paytm. She sent me request to pay 1000/-on my UPI ID. She committed that today there is slot and within 30 minutes, technician will come to your home for installation of WIFI. I paid 1000/- based on her commitment but after paying the amount no one came for installation even after 2 hrs of payment or no response from any one from airtel.
I again called to customer care about the status, now new person picked the call and said that there is no booking from airtel for new WIFI connection on my name and if you paid amount it will take 72 hrs to connect to technician to you. There is no proper response from customer care.
The lady, who booked my new connection request, cheated me for selling the connection by commitment that today, it will be installed. So please investigate with that cheater lady and arrange to install WIFI by today itself. Reference Screen shots are enclosed in email which is sent to <121@in.airtel.com & Ombudsperson@bharti.in.
