Claim not settled for over 3 weeks

National Mediclaim Policy Number 501700502410000102 – Claim No.: [24062501916] Post hospitalisation claim was submitted on 16/08/2024. Certain queries were raised for which answers were already available in the documents submitted except for one new document which is doctor’s consultation note prior to surgery. That was also sent on 26/08/2024. Responding to my reminder, TPA (FHPL) informed by their mail on 04/09/2024 that matter is referred to insurer for review and on receipt of confirmation, it will be processed.

This is the first claim in the last 26 years and it is surprising to see the ordeal and harassment to an aged senior policyholder. Leave alone settling the bill, kindly inform me the reasons taken for so much delay and issues involved as I am deeply agitated and lost confidence in your company to see the irresponsible way of response and time taken for such a small claim.
