I would like to start out by saying that I have always complimented our neighborhood Domino’s Pizza. I am over 70 and I can still eat pizza the same way I did when I was a child. I stopped eating Domino’s for a while but after moving into the Germantown neighborhood, which is served by the location at 13050 Middlebrook Road, my love for Domino’s returned. I’ve been using this location for eight years and I’ve been a faithful customer. I received a pizza that was not edible on Sunday, April 28. The crust was soggy, and it should not have been soggy. Since I pressed the key that offered me the option of ordering my last choice, I expected to receive just that. I ordered a thin and crispy crust but when I took the pizza back to the location, the guy, who was overly rude, told me that the pizza was soggy because I ordered a pizza with extra sauce and extra pepperoni. Then he proceeded to look up my last “six” orders and tell me that each one was a different order. That could not possibly be true because in all this time, I have certainly identified what I like and extra anything isn’t a part of the order for a thin and crispy pizza.
After patronizing this location for 8 years, I can reasonably say that although every pizza has not been perfect, this was only the second pizza of many that I received that was inedible. I never complained to them about the first one but this one was so bad, that I felt inclined to do so. I consciously checked all my recently bought pizzas and not a single one said anything else but normal toppings in every area. BUT, the guy at the counter rudely dismisses me and says that there is no way that their computer would have said extra if I had not ordered extra. My deduction, however, is how could my order not have said normal toppings when that’s the only thing I’ve ordered over the last several times no matter how different every other part may have been.
I am not so much upset about the bad pizza. It happens occasionally. What bothers me is the lack of appreciation and dedication to a long-term customer who has never complained before. The guy who spoke to me was so rude and it was apparent that he didn’t care about me being a long-term customer. Now I don’t have anything good to say about this location anymore and that upsets me the most.
