I had left my TATA Safari – MH -12-TN-6600 at Garve Motors, Thatavde, Pune, for servicing. During servicing, my car was damaged from left side of bumper and body by the service center. They accepted damage and agreed to make it good. I left my car on 25.09.2024 for the repairs of damage. I was told that car will be given on 27.09.2024. I was not given the car. Further, the service advisor Mr. Swaroop Singh informs my driver on 29.09.2024 that car is ready, and he should come to collect it. 29.09.2024 is Sunday and driver was on leave. However, he agreed to collect the car on Sunday. I had to pay Rs.350/- for travel to my driver to pick the car and Double Allowance for working on holiday. When my driver reached the service station to collect the car, we are told that damage to bumper cannot be done today as painter and polishing guy is on leave and they don’t want to replace the bumper. Mr. Reddy, who is Service Manager, asked my driver to take the car without the bumper work done and come back either tomorrow or next service and it will be done. I requested for giving such assurance in writing or send an email. Mr. Reddy initially agreed but later told my driver to leave the car as work of bumper polishing will be done on Monday 30.09.2024. I told the concerned person that I have only one car and have to travel for work and causing great harassment due to delay and incurring costs. On 30.09.2024, I spoke to Mr. Swaroop Singh who is the service advisor and i am promised that car will be delivered by 12 noon so I can travel by 1pm. However, the car work is still not done and not delivered and no proper inputs received. It’s such a shame that a small work takes 7 days and yet incomplete. Further, the service manager and service advisor give us incorrect information and we have to incur cost of commuting to service center and return empty handed. Also, lot of discomfort and harassment is caused due to delay. I have to incur cost on taxi to travel outstation due to delay by service center. The damage is caused by the service center. I have incurred huge expenditure for travelling by taxi due to delay. Even today I have to travel by Taxi and incur expenses due to bad service and delay by service center.
I am writing this grievance as now it’s really pathetic service and customer care by Garve Motors, Tathawade Service Center, Pune and more particularly the service manager and service advisor named hereinabove. I have suffered huge expenses due to their delay and harassment and have to be compensated for the same
HOPE THE OWNERS OF THE AGENCY TAKE ACTION AND LOOK INTO THE MANNER HOW CUSTOMERS ARE HARASSED AT THEIR SERVICE CENTER.
