The Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS) is an integrated public grievance redressal system (IPGRS), launched by the Grievance Cell of the government of West Bengal. Citizens can register complaints, track their status, and escalate any grievances related to departments, ministries, and local government offices to the Head of the Department and the Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal.

Some of the associated departments covered under the WB Grievance Cell are general administration, panchayat, West Bengal Police, Urban bodies (Municipalities), public works, etc.

According to the West Bengal Right to Public Service Act (WBRTPS), 2013, eligible persons can access public services without any delay or rejection by the officials. Citizens can lodge grievances in case of delay or denial of services. The public authorities and the designated officers can be punished for the negligence. The major services are the issuance of certificates/ration cards, land/property records, licences, claims, and other public services.

How to Register a Complaint Against Departments or Offices of the West Bengal Government?

Procedure

Visit the official PGMS West Bengal website at “https://excise.wb.gov.in/pgms/page/login.aspx“.

  1. In the citizen login, click “Lodge your grievance here”.
  2. Fill out the required information with the sign asterisk (*)
  3. Select the respective department/office
  4. Describe your issue within 1000 characters
  5. Attach any relevant documents (.doc, .docx, .pdf, .PDF, .DOC, .RAR, .rar, .ZIP, .zip, .jpg, .JPG, .jpeg, .gif, or .png)
  6. Click the “Request for One Time Password (OTP)”
  7. Enter the OTP and verify your number
  8. Make sure to note down the reference/acknowledgement number provided.

Worst service at Howrah Youth Hostel

My parents booked the AC room but there is no actual, the hostel staff is not responding on the call. And are not providing room to the senior citizens. This is worst experience and booking is for more than 3 days. It will be serious issue.

Accumulated GPF Transfer.

I Md Nurul Amin am the Superintendent of Jamia Islamia Senior Madrasah. I transferred and joined Jamia Islamia Senior Madrasah (Bithari , Swarupnagar, North 24 Pgs, 743286) on 06/08/2022. Several times I have been prayed for my GPF transfer. But the Teacher in charge of Boldepota Aminia Senior Madrasah and Administrator didn't transfer my GPF. The teacher in charge of Boldepota Aminia Senior Madrasah is Md Rabiul Islam Mondal, his phone number is - 97332****. The name of my previous Madrasah is Boldepota Aminia Senior Madrasah, Bhebia, Hasnabad, North 24 Pgs, Pin 743456. I am complaining about the transfer of my Accumulated GPF in favour of my present institution, named - Jamia Islamia Senior Madrasah. I Md Nurul Amin - phone No- 973*******.
