ABIBL provides integrated insurance broking and advisory services to individuals and businesses, covering various insurance products and plans. Other subsidiaries of AB Capital are Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited and Aditya Birla Health Insurance Co. Ltd.

  • Travel Insurance: For medical emergencies, trip cancellation, baggage loss, passport loss, personal liability, and more. These are domestic travel insurance, international travel insurance, student travel insurance, or senior citizen travel insurance.
  • Property Insurance: To protect from risks like fire, earthquake, flood, burglary, and terrorism with property insurance. Insures home, office, shop, factory, warehouse, or any other immovable property.
  • Commercial Insurance: For various industries and sectors, such as manufacturing, construction, hospitality, education, healthcare, and more
  • Other: Some insurance products are marine, asset, pet, and bite-sized insurance, for specific needs and preferences.

Still, not resolved? Escalate your grievance to the Grievance Officer and Principal Nodal Officer at AB Insurance Brokers Ltd. If not resolved within 30 days, approach the Insurance Ombudsman, IRDAI.

Note: If you have disputes regarding breach of insurance regulations and laws, approach IRDAI. For the violation of consumer rights, complain against ABIBL to the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) of the Department of Consumer Affairs.

You can also visit the nearest local branch to submit a written complaint to the Branch Manager.

Required details to submit your complaint:

  • Aditya Birla Insurance Policy Number
  • Contact details (Avoid disclosing personal or sensitive financial information)
  • Description of the matter at hand, covering aspects related to the insurance policy, claims, or any other concerns.
  • Any document (if submitted online)

Upon successful registration, you will be assigned a reference/ticket number to track the status of your complaint.

If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, escalate the ticket to the level 2 official.

If the lodged complaint is not resolved within 1 week, escalate the insurance dispute to the appointed Compliance Officer at:

Please note: If your grievance is resolved but dissatisfied with the final response then must escalate the complaint within 2 weeks of response.

Level 3: Principal Officer, ABIBL

If your complaint is still not resolved to your expectation by the Compliance Officer within 2 weeks then you may escalate the disputed matter to the Principal Officer of Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Limited.

Still, not resolved? You may file a complaint against Aditya Birla Insurance to the Insurance Ombudsman.

Level 4: Insurance Ombudsman, IRDAI

As per the Insurance Ombudsman Rules of 2023, if the complaints or any disputes related to insurance, claims, surrender plans, or policy fees/premiums are not resolved within 30 days to your satisfaction, complain to Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Limited to the Insurance Ombudsman.   1. Internal Resolution: You may resolve disputes directly with Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Limited by mutual agreement.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Lodge complaints online regarding insurance standards and breaches of laws with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
  3. Consumer Commission: For compensation amounts or disputes exceeding ₹30 lakh, submit your complaint to the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), through the E-DAAKHIL.
  4. Legal Action: If you are dissatisfied with Aditya Birla Insurance’s final decisions and regulatory orders, you may take legal action.
