Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGSPDCL) is an electricity distribution company that is publicly owned by the state government of Telangana. TGSPDCL was established on 2nd June 2014.

TGSPDCL provides electricity distribution services in 15 districts of Telangana. More than 8 million customers are getting electricity supply services.

TGSPDCL has provided official Electricity Board (EB) toll-free customer care numbers, e-mails, and fuse center helplines to their customers. You can use these verified helpline numbers to register complaints about electricity services.

  • Fill out the form and submit the OTP.
  • Open the online complaint form and fill out the required information.
  • Submit it and note down the reference number. Use it to track status.

Note – If the electricity complaint is not resolved or unsatisfied with TGSPDCL, you can lodge a grievance to CGRF, TGSPDCL. Use the below information.

Escalate to Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF), TGSPDCL

Electricity Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF), TGSPDCL takes the complaints that are not resolved or unsatisfied with the final decision of the TGSPDCL. It takes cases under the Electricity (Regulatory) Act, 2003.

The grievance must be lodged within 30 days. Your case must not be pending in any court or tribunal and a final order has not been passed.

Required Documents:

  • A copy of the response (If Available) by TGSPDCL or submitted complaint with a reference or acknowledgement number
  • Copy of the supporting documents and connection details
  • Other documents that you may prefer

Procedure:

  • Visit the TGSPDCL portal and click CGRF from the menu.
  • Fill out the required information.
  • Upload the required documents like written application, and supporting documents.
  • Submit the application form to the CGRF forum office.

2. CGRF – II (GH) TGSPDCL

Four Jurisdiction Districts: Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Vikarabad.

Remember – If your grievance is not resolved within 45 days or dissatisfied with the final response of the CGRF, TGSPDCL. File a petition to the Electricity Ombudsman, TSERC (Telangana).

File a Petition to Electricity Ombudsman, (TSERC) Telangana

Electricity Ombudsman, Telangana hears cases against the orders of the CGRF, and TGSPDCL under the Electricity (Regulation), Act, 2003. Customers can approach the Vidyut Ombudsman of Telangana to get redressal of their cases about electricity issues.

Your case must be filed within 45 days after the expiry or final decision of the CGRF and it must not be pending or the order has not been passed by any court or tribunal

You have to attach documents required by the Electricity Ombudsman.

  • A copy of all the submitted documents and responses to the CGRF Forum.
  • 3 copies of the application form and attached documents
  • Acknowledgement number of CGRF, TGSPDCL
  • Other supportive documents

Disgusting Electricity Board -Kukatpally-WORST SERVICES

We have been calling Kukatpally Electricity Board and have been complaining about the ongoing issue in the Building. There's no power, water and have been requesting them to address. The only response we have been receiving is will be there in 10 mins. Someone by the name NAANI has been answering the call and is least bothered. Is this how the present government addresses the issue civilians have been facing? I DON"T THINK THEY WILL EVEN ADDRESS THE ISSUE. IS THERE ANY SENIOR OFFICIAL WHO WILL TAKE THE REESPONSIBILITY TO HELP !!!!!!

Memo.No. DEE/OP/SNKP/F.NoCCWORKS/DNO.4923/23-24Dt.16-3-2024 Still awaiting for completion of work order. Nobody gave me proper response since very long ie AE, Line inspector, Line man, contractor, since 18 of june concerned officials of yapral put me as house arrest every day they told me that tomorrow,day after tomorrow, this day,that day work will be done. I have been remitted proper amount, purchased all material as directed by AE yapral I also agree to pay labour charges as per proper way. Then why said issue is not responding on priority. I am sr.citizen ex army person.

About power cut

I don't why everytime in keesara sub station what is the problem. Everything time they will cut power for such a long time about 2 to 3 hours. And there is no response from anyone. Given AE number when power cuts they will always keep there contact number switch of or busy. So I request higher officals please look into this matter and hoping update to resolve the problem.

There are frequent PowerCuts in the area Gandamguda where I'm residing to be part of Bandlaguda Jagir Municipal Corporation. The Nearby Power Substation is Himayatsagar. PowerCuts in Nights has been a regular issue and very unhappy by the service of TSSPDCL regarding the powercuts. Please look into the issue.
