Lodge an Online Complaint to Airtel

If customers want to file a complaint online to Airtel then follow the instructions and steps carefully.

The process to lodge an online complaint with Airtel:

Step1: Go to the login link to register your concerns: Click here

Step 2: After successful login, select service requests from the profile menu, visit the help page, and then select the type of Airtel service.

If your complaint is not resolved by Airtel Cares, lodge a grievance with the Airtel Nodal Team.

Step 2: Select your region and call on the given number or mail it to the concerned authority. Mention the issue in the mail or visit the given office address.

Step 3: Provide the reference number of your complaint to the concerned department to get a faster resolution of your previous complaint.

Step 4: Take the reference number after the successful registration of your complaint to Airtel Nodal Authority to track the status of the complaint. You can ask the reason for not resolving the previous complaint by mentioning it in your grievance application.

You can follow the steps to lodge a successful complaint to the Airtel Appellate Authority:

I have been facing persistent issues with my Airtel 5G unlimited data service for the past three days. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered such problems; a similar issue occurred recently and lasted for a week. Despite reaching out to customer care 15 times, I have not received any effective solutions or support to resolve this matter. The lack of responsiveness and resolution has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the service is supposed to be reliable. I hope Airtel addresses these concerns promptly to prevent further inconvenience.

Cheating by Airtel Employee to Sell New WIFI Connection

Dear Ombudsperson. Today @ 14:30 I called Airtel customer care from my mobile number to purchase a new WIFI connection at Changodar ( Ahmedabad). Airtel executive Ms. Pallavi (Who is in your selling team of new WIFI Connection), asked me to pay 1000/- in advance through paytm. She sent me request to pay 1000/-on my UPI ID. She committed that today there is slot and within 30 minutes, technician will come to your home for installation of WIFI. I paid 1000/- based on her commitment but after paying the amount no one came for installation even after 2 hrs of payment or no response from any one from airtel. I again called to customer care about the status, now new person picked the call and said that there is no booking from airtel for new WIFI connection on my name and if you paid amount it will take 72 hrs to connect to technician to you. There is no proper response from customer care. The lady, who booked my new connection request, cheated me for selling the connection by commitment that today, it will be installed. **Subject:** Urgent: Delay in Installation of Airtel Black Service - Order ID: 21 Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. I am Capt. Joseph Zachariah, a long-standing Airtel customer. On 1st September 2024, I opted for the Airtel Black service and made a payment of ₹2500/-, with the assurance that the installation of Airfiber and DTH services would be completed within 24 hours. However, as of today, 4th September 2024, no engineer has visited for the installation. Despite multiple calls to your customer care center, I have not received any satisfactory updates. My order ID is 21-92052171922, and the assigned engineer is Mr. Machindra Tejrao Khelwane. Unfortunately, when I tried to reach him at the provided contact number (7947489746), the number was invalid. This delay and lack of communication from Airtel is disappointing and does not reflect well on the company's reputation. I request you to take immediate action on my complaint and provide me with an update regarding the installation of my Airtel Black services. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. internet services - complaint

Internet was not working on June 03, 2024. Raised a complaint at 121 on June 08, 2024. Technician came after one week (June 13, 2024) and said cable wire broke and cannot be repaired. One June 14, 2024 made a call to 121 to disconnect the services. They tried persuading me to continue. When internet services were not restored, I could not work from home. So immediately shifted to different service provider. Bill was generated on July 03, 2024. Made multiple calls to 121 to cancel services. But they were not disconnecting and continued to generate bill. Now the Bill generated in 3300. Please let me know why I should pay the bill when I haven’t used the services and no fault from my side. Every time I make a call to 121, they simple say pay bill we will cancel your services. I buy your WIFI connection along with DTH yesterday from Mr. Suman. As per him and i also insist for yesterday installation he told me OK it will be done. He not come to my address for KYC, send all documents to him including OTP. After the payment done, he told please share the message Order ID 21-91434198365 and Engineer name Mr. Vibhash Kumar. He told another technician will be visited to your place. After that he not picked up the phone even your call Centre does not respond. I don't expect this type of casual approach from this esteemed organization.

To Customer Services Airtel, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the quality of your Wi-Fi services and the handling of my recent complaint. As a loyal customer for approximately 15 years, I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I have received. Since June, I have been attempting to address a significant issue with my Wi-Fi connection. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter, my complaint was closed by your team without any resolution. I continued to pay for the service for the past three months, even though it was not operational during this period. Today, when I requested the disconnection of my services due to the continued non-functionality, I was informed by your customer care representative that I must wait until the end of the billing cycle on the 25th. This is unacceptable, as I should not be charged for a service that I am not receiving. My Sim card is not working

Dear team , This sim has issued from haryana circle 13 years back and I am using this sim as an authenticated customer with Airtel since last 13 years. Currently I am in Bhopal and the sim is been issued inthe name of Mohit his aadhar number is XXXXXXXX 2450 But he will not be able to visit nearest Airtel store So I reached the nearest retail store to reissue the sim but they have given me the resolution that I have to go to haryana then only I can reissue this sim on my id card. Do you think is this valid approach for the person to resolve this issue? Prepaid amount is debited, but service is blocked

I am a customer of Airtel with mobile no. On 14 July the connection is recharged with Rs.211/- with order ID 7218237687715098. But the service is blocked on 16 July as the period of the previous plan is finished. Why had it happened so? To resume the service, I again recharged with another plan of Rs.219/-. I request to look into the matter and to refund the amount.

Now I am thinking to change my service provider for all services I am using from Airtel. Hello, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Ashwin, and I recently subscribed to Airtel broadband services on June 9th. However, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the service I have received since installation. From the very first day, the technician who installed the connection informed me of an existing error which has persisted, causing frequent disconnections until June 14th. On that day, I contacted Airtel customer service to report the issue, and I was assured that it would be resolved within 24 hours. Despite receiving numerous messages about different technicians being assigned to address the problem, no one has shown up to resolve it. I contacted the technicians directly using the numbers provided, but only one answered and mentioned that my name was not on his list. The next four contacts did not respond at all. Escalating the matter to customer service, I was given the area supervisor’s number. Although he promised a resolution, it took two more days for a technician to visit, only to inform me that the issue required intervention from a different team due to a cable problem. Since then, despite multiple follow-ups and reassurances from customer service that the issue would be fixed within 24 hours, there has been no progress. As of today, June 25th, the problem remains unresolved. When I requested cancellation and a full refund, I was informed that this was not possible and I must wait for a resolution. This ongoing issue has severely impacted my ability to work from home, necessitating daily internet plans on my Airtel SIM, causing significant inconvenience and financial strain. Additionally, my flatmates, who also work from home, are similarly affected. I am attaching screenshots to this email, documenting my repeated attempts to resolve this issue and the responses received from Airtel. I am seeking your immediate intervention to resolve this issue. Should the problem persist, I request a full refund for the broadband service and the removal of all related equipment from my premises. I am an existing Airtel customer and have been using Airtel for last 12 years. I was using Airtel Black and want to change the plan to include DTH. For the last two weeks I have been coordinating with Customer service representative Ms. Kaviyagaya. I have told her many times, as I am working,it is not possible to install DTH during week days and can be done only on weekends. I had two week ends - 8th and 9th June and on 16th and 17th June. . Yet she asked for KYC, When I submitted my driving license. She said it is not proper and asked to submit again and kept on delaying the process. Despite repeatedly telling i am not available during weekdays, they are asking for time for installation and in a way shifting the blame to us. This is really harassing. Pls help

This with respect to Broadband connection. Wifi: 04416456365_wifi It is not working since 10th june, 2024. I filed complain on 11th june, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Slot provided to me for engineer visit was 12th june, 2024 5:00 pm to 6:00pm. On 12th june, 2024 at 4:15pm, I received message that it has been rescheduled for 13th june, 2024 at 9:00 pm. I called customer care on 12th june, 2024 three times and requested to get it rectified as already since 10th june it is not working. They confirmed they will take issue on priority but get it resolved. They will get it resolved by 12th june, 2024. In the evening at 6:30pm again I called customer care and supervisor came online after 10 minutes hold. As per Supervisor, there is issue at the SAT box. It will definitely get resolved by 13th june, 9:00 am. On 13th june, I was waiting for some Technician to come and resolve the issue. I started for office late waiting for technician. At 9:35 am I received message that technician visit is rescheduled for 5 pm. Just summarized all concerns. 1. More than 72 hours wi-fi is not working. 2. More than 48 hours hours of complain no action taken on the complaint. 3. After calling customer care four times also no action taken. Only false assurance provided. 4. Without asking and taking consent of customer just rescheduling the visits. Three times rescheduled. 5. False statement given that problem at their SAT box. In my society all Wi-fi are working. 6. Already inside house even 5G does not come properly. Wifi is the only support that is also not working. 7. Escalation team is calling and saying by 14th june it will get resolved. Since 12th june, 2024 I getting false assurance.

Poor Service

Dear Sir, I have booked Airtel Xstream Fibre and was allotted application No 01114679174 by paying a sum of Rs 3532.92- as a booking amount to the agent of Airtel Xstream Fibre. Booking was done with my mobile No 920542XXXX. I requested to install the internet connection on an urgent basis as my children have to attend online classes. However, inspite of repeated requests, the Airtel Agent (having Mobile No 0875056XXXX) neither provided internet connection, nor answered my phone calls. Therefore, I sent him a whatsapp msg to cancel my booking followed by an email also, sent to Airtel to cancel and refund the booking amount, which is still awaited. Unfortunately, due to some misunderstanding, my son, Mr Punit Singh again booked Airtel Xstream Fibre with his mobile No for which he was given application No 01114705640 by paying a sum of Rs 3300/- to another Airtel Agent, who has AGAIN assured that he will install Airtel Xstream Fibre same day itself. But, as a matter of AIRTEL fact, neither anybody installed the connection nor the Airtel Agent (having Mob No 073009XXXXX) responded positively to install the connection as assured by him before booking the connection. Therefore, this Airtel Agent has again been told to cancel this second booking too and asked for process case for refund the amount at the earliest. This attitude of Airtel, reflects that the casual attitude of airtel, before the connection is provided to the customer, so poor, what one can expect for next six months, after taking six months connection plan. So I feel lucky that I came to know about Airtel...well in time and did not wish to join your team and would prefer to go with any other option like JIO. So Please cancel my both the bookings and refund my money (3532.92+3300) back to my account at the earliest possible time. Absolute No service No connection given for Airtel Fiber at my Residence although Payment made

Airtel Customer Care Apellate Authority I was switching from my present internet service provider(Fiber Connection ) to Airtel, so I contacted your Airtel yesterday ie on 28.04.2024 at 7.19 am . since then I was making contacts with number of times over phone and ultimately I could contact with one person who was literally reluctant saying busy and and outside. ultimately somehow manage to come and asked for payment of Rs.3300/-. When I told him about the connection which he initially said would be done by Technician immediately after my payment, now when the payment is done started saying that it is not possible and i will have wait till next day, ie, today on 29.04.2024 at 10 am. But today ie 0n 29.04.2024 when no one turned up and I started calling that person he did not pick up even for single time. Till now when i am posting this at 3.30 pm i have not received any communication or any call that someone would be coming for the connection. Now I have decided that I will not go for the connection with Airtel Fiber. Reason being if at very beginning this the quality of service and responses I don't know what will happen during the journey. I do not know whether I will get the refund of the money I have already Paid, but I will consider it as a cost of my lesson learned. Hi Team, I am a user of airtel broadband service (061831XXXXX_wifi). I connected with Airtel on 7th Apr '24. With this date I am facing network related issue. I am not getting speed as I opted. I opted for 200Mbps. But I am only getting less than 150 Mbps (Download) speed. I raised complaints many times. But the problem is the same. Even customer care is not listening, they are only saying “Wait for 24hrs. it will resolve”. I waited too much. Every day the same problem. Today, I talked to the team leader (agent transfer to manager). He kept my phone with no answer. And disconnect after some time. If a senior manager is like that then I think about, what I can do. I have attached the speed which I am getting. If airtel can’t provide me with the expected speed then please return my money. And I am calculating this speed when I am near the router.

Mishandling of services at 121 helpline

On 18th April around 11.am I approached 121 helpline for changing the family plan from 799 to 599 where two mobiles 987XXXXXX & 880XXXXXXX are linked I was informed that prime no is 880XXXXX.This was surprising as all my bill-related actions were done through 987XXXXX .Still not to raise doubt I requested that the prime no should to be 987XXXXXXX . For this as advised I cleared the outstanding bill , Delinked the family pack and 987XXXXXXX was removed out to be stand alone . To do this process I received a series of OTP s to confirm my intent . As informed I have to wait for at least 8hrs so 987XXXXXXX was kept on plan 399 as stand-alone for an interim period On 19th morning again contacted 121to complete the process of regularizing the family pack with plan 599 and primary No. as 987XXXXXXXXX Surprisingly there is lack of communication /understanding and after going through a ritual of sharing OTP to confirm my intent my plan is not regularized as desired. Again I have to wait for 8hrs with no clarity on whether my intent shall be implemented Being a senior citizen not possible to visit the store

THE OFFICER AT CUSTOMER CARE TOLD ME THAT I WILL BE CONNECTED LATER, IT NEVER HAPPENED IN SO MANY DAYS. THUS, THE SERVICE HAS BECOME VERY POOR AND I AM AT THE MERCY OF AIRTEL. I am reaching out to you as no one from your team is not responding and replying to my emails. Ms. Sheetal from your team informed that within 7 days she will resolve the issue. Almost one month Passed, no resolution yet. (You can see the trailing mails). The saddest part is they wont solve it and they wont allow me to escalate or provide me the email ID. This is Srikanth bearing the mobile number 90*******. My spouse's name is Rajani and mobile number is 910****** and instead of recharging to her number, I recharged to the wrong number 910******* with an amount of 719 rs on March 5th 2024. Later I recharged it to 910****** with 719 rs on march 6th 2024. I raised a complaint to customer care and informed them about the wrong recharge and requested for the amount to refunded.. As the recharge was done on my mobile freecharge app through the GPay UPI account, I had provided my number 90******* to refund it back. Your customer care person informed me that my complaint would be processed and requested to wait till 14th of March 2024. As i had not received the payment, once again reached out to the customer about my payment and informed me that you provided the 90****** to process the refund, so it is not matching and informed we cannot refund the amount but whatever the recharge done can be processed to your wife mobile number 91******. Then I confirmed with your team to process and they informed me to wait till the 28th of March. Today when I reached out, they were informed that the complaint was closed because you had not reached us in 3 days and we are helpless. Please find the attachment of the payment made to the wrong number 910******** Hence I request you to see the log record, I raised the complaint on 6th, on the next day I reached out to you and the customer care executive had not explained or guided me about the process of payment or recharge back to the mobile number. One of your Customer Executive disconnected the Call, is this the way you provide the service to the customers.

Hi, my name is Balli Ashish. I used to be your customer. I sent money to your airtel store employee two days back that my post paid bill is pending. Till now my bill is not cleared and they are not even returning the money to me. I didn't expect your service to be this bad. I never expected that your Airtel store would cheat like this. If you send money to pay the bill but don't collect it, it means that your employees are doing very well. If this happens, many customers from Airtel will go to another network. Pathetic Service from Airtel - Struggling since Aug 2023

Corporate Relationship No.11226160 - Lines not working since Aug 2023 and pathetic response from the complete Chennai Airtel team. Sent 100s of emails and made calls and went to the Santom office and we were treated so badly that not even allowed to meet the manager (so-called) Pavan. Contact back to Triad Software Pvt Ltd. Never ever take Airtel service of any format.

I have been facing persistent issues with my Airtel 5G unlimited data service for the past three days. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered such problems; a similar issue occurred recently and lasted for a week. Despite reaching out to customer care 15 times, I have not received any effective solutions or support to resolve this matter. The lack of responsiveness and resolution has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the service is supposed to be reliable. I hope Airtel addresses these concerns promptly to prevent further inconvenience.service engineer is not capable of solving the problem . they ask for money to resolve our problem . and also they don,t answer to our calls and there manager also support them , they listen to me (us). i am facing the problem from a week and they are not responding to it . please help me to relove my problem . my setup box is not working from a week and they are not resolving the problem instead of resolving the problem they are asking for money , but the plan which i had take in that i have got free service charges for any problem , now they are not answering to my calls and nothing is happening by doing online complaint so , i request you to resolve my problem .
