Level 2: Grievance Officer, Max Life Insurance
In case of unsatisfactory or unresolved complaints with Max Life Insurance, policyholders can escalate the matter to Grievance Officers at Regional Branches and Corporate Offices. If dissatisfaction persists after the final order or if the complaint remains unresolved for over two weeks, you can escalate to the authorized Regional Director and subsequently to the Head of the Corporate Office.
Note – Escalation should occur within 8 weeks of receiving a response. Bima Bharosa, an Integrated Grievance Management System (IGMS) of IRDAI, can also be used for escalation.

Level 3: Insurance Ombudsman, IRDAI
As per IRDAI regulations, insurer companies, including Max Life Insurance, must resolve complaints related to insurance policies within 30 days. If dissatisfied with Max Life’s resolution, policyholders have the right to petition the Insurance Ombudsman under the 2017 Insurance Ombudsman Rules.
