How to File a Complaint to the Gurugram Municipal Corporation?

According to the Citizen Charter issued by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, the grievance redressal mechanism has 3 levels to resolve any complaint about civic services. If the disputes are not resolved in the initial stage, escalate to the authorized officials at the next level.

Have your complaints not been resolved within the given resolution period? If your complaints are not resolved to your satisfaction, escalate the grievance to the Joint Municipal Commissioner of the respective administrative department of the Municipal Corporation.

File a complaint online

If you want to raise any concerns by the online platform to the Municipal Corporation then you should file a complaint online through the grievance portal of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA).

Additionally, you can lodge a grievance online about water supply, property tax, solid waste (garbage) management, and other departments.  Must provide these details in the online form:

  • Complainant details: Email, phone number, and name
  • Department (if asked)
  • Category of the grievance
  • Ward/Zone with location
  • Description of the issue with relevant facts
  • Attach supporting documents, images, etc.

After successful registration of the complaint, note down the reference/ticket number from the Helpdesk System of GMDA. Use this ticket to track the status or escalate the case (if not resolved).

Public Grievance Cell, MCG

According to the Right to Public Services Act, 2015 (Haryana), Every citizen has the right to access public services within the given timeframe. If this period exceeds or is not satisfied with the final delivery of services or resolution then you can lodge a complaint to the designated officers or appeal to the higher authorities of the respective government office.

In the case of Urban Local Bodies (ULB), specifically for disputes with the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, you can escalate the grievance to designated officers of the Public Grievance Cell of respective departments.
