Siemens is a renowned brand known for its quality and reliability. However, even the best appliances can encounter problems that can be with cooking and baking devices, refrigerators and freezers, dish or laundry care, or coffee machines. If you’re facing an issue with your Siemens appliance in India, here’s a guide to help you register a complaint with Siemens customer service representatives.

Before this, understand your rights:

Notice - Be alert! Don't share the financial or banking details and don't share OTP to customer care executive. Protect yourself from Frauds and Scams. Report to Cyber Crime Bureau or Call 1930 as soon as possible to protect your earnings and others.

The Consumer Protection Act of 2019 empowers you as a consumer. This act guarantees you rights such as:

  • Information about the product’s quality, features, and warranty.
  • Protection against faulty or hazardous appliances.
  • A fair redressal system in case of product defects.

Level 1: Customer Care, Siemens

Before registering a complaint, collect the following information:

  • Appliance Details: Model number, purchase date, and a copy of the purchase invoice (bill).
  • Nature of the Complaint: Clearly describe the problem you’re facing with the appliance. Be specific about when the issue began and how it affects the appliance’s functionality.
  • Warranty Status: Check your warranty card to determine if the appliance is still under warranty and for what period.

  • Toll-Free Customer Care Number: You can call Siemens India’s customer service toll-free helpline number 18002091850 and speak to a service representative.

Additional Tips:

You should maintain a polite and professional tone while registering your complaint. Be clear and concise in your explanation of the problem. If possible, provide pictures or videos that visually depict the malfunction. Always keep a record of your complaint reference number for future reference.

Siemens will typically assign a complaint reference number and keep you updated on the progress. If you don’t hear back within a reasonable timeframe, politely follow up through your chosen communication channel.

Still not resolved? Escalate the matter to the consumer protection authority

Level 2: Appeal to Consumer Forum

If your complaint is not resolved by Seimens, lodge a consumer complaint to the consumer protection authority such as the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) or the Consumer Commission (forum). You can visit these pages to file a consumer complaint online.

Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution manages consumer rights and safety in India. You should know that the Consumer Commission is a quasi-judicial body in India that is tasked with protecting the interests of consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is responsible for the standardization and certification of electronic and consumer appliances. You can report about the quality of standards of appliances sold by Seimens.
