How to File a Complaint of Swiggy?

As per the SWIGGY customer service policy, the complaint resolution mechanism is divided into 2 levels. First, contact the customer service executives through online chat at the Swiggy App or email. If your submitted food or grocery complaint is unresolved at level 1, escalate it to the next level.

Resolution Period Up to 30 days (It may vary, please read T&C and refund/cancellation policy of SWIGGY)
Return/Refund Period* 5 to 7 business days

*Note: For payment methods such as Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking (NB), Amazon Pay (CC/DC/NB), Phone Pe (CC/DC/NB), and Sodexo, the refund processing time is 5-7 business days. UPI, Wallets like Lazy Pay, and Wallets-Paytm/Mobikwik/Freecharge have a quick turnaround time of 2 hours for refund processing.

Not Resolved to your satisfaction with the timeframe by the Grievance Officer?

If you’re not happy with Swiggy’s response to your complaint, then You can lodge an informal consumer complaint to the National Consumer Helpline (NACH), either by calling the toll-free number or filing a complaint online.

Further, you can make a formal complaint against Swiggy to the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) – Consumer Court. Another choice is to try resolving the issue directly with Swiggy by internal arbitration.

Order No# 186228485514505 I have given a food order and prepaid the amount. Swiggy themselves cancelled it and stated that the order cancelled as requested by the customer and the amount forfeited. Immediately raised a complaint through the App and the response was that it is cancelled by the delivery partner as my phone was not reachable. This was a wrong statement as I myself was contacted the delivery partner and I have provided the evidences to customer support team. As requested by them I have raised a complaint through Swiggy support e-mail. Got a response that they will reply with in 24 hours. Not received any response as committed by Swiggy. Shibu George

Fraudulent delivery service by Swiggy.

I have been noticing since a few days that swiggy has suddenly increased the distance for the same restaurants from below 10 kms to above 10 kms just to charge extra delivery fee from customers. You can very well go and easily check authentic distance on Google that the restaurants come under 10 kms mark. Alis, for instamart is constantly increasing handling fee from 4 to 5 and now it charges 7.6 per order which is really fraudulent. Also, a surge charge is taken separately. I have already stopped paying for Zomato gold because of such illegal behaviour and now I would be leaving swiggy too. I would also go to consumer forum if this unethical behaviour doesn't stop immediately.

Sir,I had ordered some groceries item from swiggy instamart,where there is a combo offer of Amul vanilla magic ice cream and aisle chocolate chips.Out of two item,only Amul vanilla icecream was delivered, without the combo offer of Chocolate chips. This was inquired by me at time of delivery. The delivery boy told m.e that after contacting with office,I will inform me.Nethier the delivery boy telephoned me ,nor received my telephone. I have also informed the same through e mail,which was also in vain.

The delivery boy mentioned, he became impure by touching the nonveg food. demanded the money to offer to God. His body language was as if , we are the only comsuming nonveg. It hurt us a lot. We didn;t have food. Customer care is not ready to take complaint neither they are cancelling or giving money back. If delivery boy is not comfortable touching the nonvey, he should not be sent at all. What the heck !!

Threatening cheating & defrauding customer

Your delivery Agent misbehaved with me when I asked him to confirm the items in the delivery bag. He said "that is not my job" ....later even tried to assault me when I insisted that he re-check all items in the "delivery bag". Later he takes all things back with him. It is not the person mentioned who delivered the package: It was some other youngsters who abused and insulted me, before taking away the package. Swiggy has taken a "pre-paid order" ...later sent rowdy elements who threatened me and now have sent a message that "No refund will be given" This is cheating, threatening the customer and later sending a "No Refund" message. Everything has been recorded on CCTV... I hav taken their photographs too. SWIGGY is behaving in a Hitler like manner and cheating customers. Later the Agent came home along with 2-3 other abusive persons: Swiggy has employed such lowly individuals: This is pure_rowdism and lowest class of serving a customer. The Swiggy agent abused and threateningly said "I know what to do with you" ...and sped away. EVERYTHING has been RECORDED on CCTV cameras. ....and now SWIGGY sends a message "your order is cancelled: No Refund will be given" This is a convenient and easy way to make money by cheating people who hav faith in your service. Its a disgusting way to make_money

I am a very loyal swiggy user but your team's actions off lately has sparked that anger in me and I am writting to Swiggy team here It's about Swiggy instamart cheating me many times. I usually place order for Kellogg's cornflakes and there's an option of 15% extra in your online store. I have bought that many times and Swiggy has never sent the product with the extra material. Swiggy has cheated me many times in this item so today I took it up with your team. Three agents spoke to me Sharada/ Shradha, Shubam(her senior) and Chaitanya - all of them has together wasted 1 hour of my time on a Sunday afternoon. They are not ready to give the correct product and they have 2 times asked me to return the product only to receive the same product again. My point is , this is cheating!! You / Kellogg's is making money here, for which I am paying and giving NO RESOLUTION, only wasting my time and money! Absolutely hopeful experience with your team Swiggy! Fri, 12 Jul, 21:38 to support@swiggy.in Hi Team, This is very disappointing to say that after using Swiggy since more than 6 years. I have been given a false and misleading claim from Swiggy. I have subscribed for Swiggy one and have been assured that I will not be charged any delivery fee for orders above 199rs and within 7km it’s free of charge. But still I have been charged the fee. Upon connecting with the customer care, they said it is for the distance between restaurant and the destination and is given for the delivery partners. If it was so, then why was I given a false assurance that the delivery is free. This is not what I expected after so u years of service with Swiggy. I will be taking this matter further if no action provided.

2 days ago i purchased a subway sandwich veggie delight with a particular Cheese toast addon, but for 3 times the restaurant didn't add this addon plus taken the full price for the food, I complained this to Swiggy they initially refunded the order when the second time the issue happened, the third time i ordered again the issue of food omittance has been done, I complained promptly to Swiggy telling the issue, they are only offering measly 14 rs as a refund and when i complained they said maybe 41 rs for my troubles, I do not need money, I wanted a resolution of this Subway's particular disrespect to their customer's order, Swiggy said to email them and the official team will look into it, yet they didn't listen or even bothered for a follow up. I am appalled and angry at this.

Complaint Regarding Swiggy order no. 179684604910035

Ordered food from swiggy order number 179684604910035 which was not delivered and even after complaining against this and mailing them , nothing has been done and delivery agent did not picked the call even after repeated attempts and when complaint to swiggy customer service they said delivery agent is also not picking up their call, so they can not do anything and asked to mail but even after complaining on mail no response no action and no refund nothing has been done.

Dear Team, This has reference to order number ORDER #177231415996547, booked on 13th June '24 I had booked an order of Rs 6990 on 13th June'24. While placing the order, I had inadvertently given wrong address for delivery of food. I immediately tried to cancel and reorder the foods with correct location but I could not do the same within 1 minute of TAT. Eventually, I tried calling the restaurant several times but no one picked up the phone neither till that time I was given the contact number of the delivery boy. In the end, I end up paying for food which I never received. Being a old customer of your organization, it's my humble submission to the competent authority at swiggy to kindly look into my case and refund my amount as I mentioned, I end up paying for food which I never received. I ordered food items from Arsalan. Except Egg roll 2 Tikiya roll 1 Egg chicken roll filling is rotten in quality when I reached to your support it only promised to refund 210. Why should I going to pay any amount for this? I need complete refund with proper apology or else I eill raise this issue at FSSAI and consumer forum as well. Order ID 177948804511362. I sent this email to Swiggy but they simply ignored by saying that they refunded INR 210 for the purchase. Whereas It's an utmost security concern to the customer.

Swiggy: notirious and unethical ways of making money. The delivery boy comes to the gate and calls. Since the number was not answered due to pre occupancy, the delivery boy goes back with the ordered goods and deposits the goods in their store. Swiggy now charges 100% as cancellation charge. Isn’t it funny and criminal? The last resort is to aporoach consumer court and boycott such aggregators. The lost amount is Rs. 1900 today but it coud be much bigger for other customers. KFC Warje store is deliberately messing up orders which i've brought to the attention of swwiggy and they are not doing anything about it. Just got off the phone with KFC support and they too just routed me to the store where during work hours, the manager is not present. Swiggy needs to take responsibility of service irrespective of the brands it aggregates on its platform. This is growing painful day by day. 1. The estimated delivery deliver time shown before placing order is 30 minutes, but estimated delivery time after placing the order is 1 hour 30 minutes. 2. There is no way to communicate with Customer care. There is no executive to talk with. 3. The chat option doesn’t allow me to type my concern, I can only select given options which are not related to my concern. 4. I cannot cancel my order as I have to mandatorily bear Rs 75 cancellations charges. This was shown in one of your chat options, hence I had to back out. 5. As I ordered at 11pm, I had no option but to wait till 12:30pm. 6. I was tracking the order, the time was passing but your estimated delivery time wasn’t. Remember I was hungry even after paying you in advance 🤬 7. I went to sleep as I did not receive the order and order status was not changing. But you fool people have the audacity to call me at 2am to tell about order cancellation. You stupid people kept me hungry after receiving payment also and then spoiled my sleep also. 8. Now my refunding my money do you think you are favouring me????? You did not deliver the order, then that’s the basic thing to do. 9. Do you think your 50rs give you right to keep someone hungry and spoil their sleep. If yes, then let me do this you. I will give you Rs 100. 10. After all this torture by Swiggy, you email says we hope you enjoy ordering from us. Does this looks enjoyable to you.

On July 18, I placed an order with order ID 180255953700620 on Swiggy from Punjabi Affair, Hyderabad. However, the order was not delivered to me, and the delivery person did not even call me. Later, I received a message from Swiggy stating that the order had been delivered. When I tried contacting the delivery person, he did not answer the call. I then contacted support and was advised to write an email. I sent the email within minutes, but I have not received any response yet. I have already written four emails regarding this issue. Today, when I reached out to customer care again, they asked me to write another email, which is very frustrating. I hope you can address this issue promptly.

Hi my name is Binny Raj from Swiggy id - 840334 Chinese Whisper Vasai Being a weekday and unexpected order load we were short with staff and my supervisor by mistake clicked ready as we had 2 orders, so he clicked on the wrong order. This helped us meet Akshay Khadbade / this guys came without uniform with his casual outfit his attitude and behavior also was casual he was loud in front of guest latter i called him to meet still he was loud rude and when i told him i will file a complaint about this he said do what you want to do i will manage it i have photos and video of the same. Let me know how you are going to take action on this my contact number is above kindly call me and let me know what you are doing about this he also mentioned he isn't a swiggy staff he is porter and swiggy will deduct his money that's why he had to yell Please train such people well educate them it's a paid service and not free home delivery.

I use to order stuff from swiggy from the last few months when I face any issue regarding item quality or anything they just open chat and when I click talk to an agent they just say we need time to investigate the issue further and then close the chat automatically and mention that we will reply you by email and they do not do anything on email they just send an automated email by saying we can do anything too can rate the restaurant. They guys do not help! Worst Customer service and help care !!!! They need to immediately improve the service asap!!

Regarding the order 173084826946873 I ordered and waited for more than 2 hours and the order got cancelled. Neither the delivery guy nor the restaurant is picking call. Even why the correct number of restaurant is not updated in swiggy. And it's just simply saying we will refund amount . What's the pain in making my teammates wait for my order.and after a long even without my consent order is cancelled which left me with eating maggie in canteen as there is no other option left. My one of the one delivery free order is wasted , whatever the coupon i use got wasted and I got only the amount I paid and it's mentioned I will be refunded with 119 coupon. Is this that simple and such a simple response of making us wait . And why this order is being accepted by restaurant if it's not ready to provide . And even swiggy is not updating any info for more than 1 and half hour. Saying can I go ahead with cancel. This is not the apt response from such a highly reputed organization. Which makes me bad to order in such platform and allowing me to use other platforms to order food and force others to do so.

Immediately raised a complaint through the App and the response was that it is cancelled by the delivery partner as my phone was not reachable. This was a wrong statement as I myself was contacted the delivery partner and I have provided the evidences to customer support team. As requested by them I have raised a complaint through Swiggy support e-mail. Got a response that they will reply with in 24 hours. Not received any response as committed by Swiggy. Shibu GeorgeDelivery partner cancelled this order but he tried reaching on my number but i didnt get any call may be n/w issue. Now order cancellation charge is entry money. He had address and on same address order have been delivered in past. i am not going to pay for his incompatibility who is going to pay for delay on process i have been using this platform simce its incarnation but never experinces such pathetic excuse...i dont what to take social media path to create your awareness ... Refund me ASAP with penality ...be ausre Swiggy backlash on linkedin/fb/inta...I have been noticing since a few days that swiggy has suddenly increased the distance for the same restaurants from below 10 kms to above 10 kms just to charge extra delivery fee from customers. You can very well go and easily check authentic distance on Google that the restaurants come under 10 kms mark. Alis, for instamart is constantly increasing handling fee from 4 to 5 and now it charges 7.6 per order which is really fraudulent. Also, a surge charge is taken separately. I have already stopped paying for Zomato gold because of such illegal behaviour and now I would be leaving swiggy too. I would also go to consumer forum if this unethical behaviour doesn't stop immediately.The food I ordered is fully burnt and not good at all..the chicken was not there swiggy is fooling thisnis the 2nd instance happened with me I don't know how they r running Swiggy AppI was given something different from what I ordered and paid for.
