Customers can register complaints to DVVNL by two methods, one is by calling on the toll-free customer care number. Second, by lodging an online complaint on the portal of UPPCL. Let us know one by one these both methods.

These are the reasons and issues of electricity that can be addressed by the DVVNLL:

  • Electricity Power Supply – Supply off/outages, Frequent Power disruptions, Failure of Power

  • Compensation Demand – Request for electricity accident compensation, not sanctioned

DVVNL has provided toll-free customer care numbers for their customers to register electricity complaints. If you want to register your grievance on the customer care helpline by calling to executive, you can follow the steps.

Step 1 – Click on this number and call to customer care executive of DVVNL to register your issue or complaint about electricity services.

Step 2 – Choose the options as per the guidance of the IVRS and tell the issue to the customer care executive. After the successful submission of your complaint, get the complaint reference number on your mobile number.

Step 3 – You can use the complaint reference number to track your complaint. Also can be used for further reports and grievances.

Step 4 – DVVNL has provided a WhatsApp number, you can use it to register your complaint. Click on the number and get open in WhatsApp.

Step 5 – Send “Hi” on the WhatsApp chat, and choose the option to register a complaint. Now, select the category and sub-category. Submit the issue and get the complaint reference number. Use it to track your complaint.

If you are not satisfied with the final resolution of the UPPCL or DVVNL or your complaint is not redressed, you can lodge a grievance in the Electricity Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, UPPCL (Regional DVVNL Discom Forum).

Register Online Complaint

If any customer of DVVNL wants to file a complaint on the portal of DVVNL, you can register an online complaint to UPPCL by filling out the complaint form with the required information.

Step 3 – If you are not satisfied with the final decision of the DVVNL or your complaint is not redressed within the given time, escalate the matter to CGRF for DVVNL.

Step 4 – Follow the steps by visiting the above link and lodge your grievance to the Electricity Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF), UPPCL (In the regional Discom of DVVNL).

Step 5 – If your grievance is not redressed within 100 days or you are unsatisfied with the final decision of the CGRF, you can file a petition or also can appeal to the Electricity Ombudsman Office, Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC).
