How to File a Complaint of IndiaMart?

As per the customer service policy defined by IndiaMART, the complaint resolution mechanism is divided into two levels. If initial complaints are not resolved, customers have the option to escalate the case to the next appointed authority to represent the disputed matter.

Refund Period 7 to 15 business days (read return/cancellation policy)

Levels of Lodging Complaint:

  • Level 2: Escalate the complaint to the Grievance Officer, IndiaMART InterMESH Limited or CS Head of IndiaMart (in case of internal escalation).

If the dispute is between buyer and seller under B2B services that is not resolved satisfactorily, you may request the company to start an arbitration or use a registered third-party arbitrator to resolve the disputed matter as per the laws defined for B2B arbitration.

Please note: If your raised complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction within the specified resolution period by IndiaMART, you may file a consumer complaint with the National Consumer Helpline of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs (MoCA).


Level 1: Customer Care, IndiaMART

At the initial level, if you have any problems with IndiaMART services, such as buying/selling products, online B2B transactions, advertisements, or IndiaMART trade deals, complain to the IndiaMART customer support team. You can report issues through the toll-free helpline number, email, or WhatsApp.

For a quicker resolution, you can also submit your complaint online to IndiaMART. When contacting customer service representatives, please include:

  • Order ID (Seller ID for trade deals)
  • Nature of the complaint
  • Advertisement ID (for paid ads)
  • A detailed description of the issue along with relevant documents, such as product/ads images, screenshots, bills, etc.

Level 2: Grievance Officer, IndiaMART InterMESH Limited

As per the IT Act 2000 and E-Commerce Rules 2020, IndiaMART InterMESH Limited has appointed a Grievance Officer to redress the issues related to unresolved complaints at level 1 including disputes of privacy breaches, IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) violations, and other matters related to IndiaMART B2B platform.

if your initial complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction by Customer Service at level 1 then escalate your complaint to the designated Nodal Officer at IndiaMART.

In your written grievance letter or email, include the following details:

  • Reference/ticket number of the previous complaint
  • Order/Seller ID
  • Reason for dissatisfaction and expected relief
  • Description of the disputed matter with supporting documents such as screenshots, images of products, invoices, etc.

fraud done by indiamart mumbai office and no action taken

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inform you about the fraudulent package deal done by the Mumbai office of your company. Despite repeated complaints, they are not taking my concerns seriously and are instead pressuring me to pay the remaining balance or forget about the issue altogether. Recently, I have received complaints that a customer had paid your company two years back for a product that was not delivered, but when I contacted the customer, they denied making such a complaint. This is alarming as it shows these fraudulent activities are becoming more widespread, and they are now trying to pressure me into withdrawing my complaint. I had paid for the IM WhatsApp package, but despite paying two installments, the company did not activate the package, and as a result, I had to stop making payments. The field representative also did not authorize the package, and instead of resolving the issue, he made fake commitments. When I raised the issue, the Mumbai office took his side, and I had to prove that the field representative was negligent in his duties. I require urgent assistance from someone in your head office who can help resolve this issue. I have already contacted other suppliers who have raised similar issues against the Mumbai office. This office is pressuring the field representatives to make oral commitments and then later say that they do not count without any written proof. Indiamart not providing services after taking eight lakh for advance. Three years service.

My firm is listed on IndiaMART I had paid eight lakh for the leader services for three years advance. I had paid to them now after eight months they downloaded my services and harassing me again and again to give more money. Then we will provide the services or better services. Every time they say that you have link with some other profile you are sharing your data even their person or sharing my data. Their person putting Anyone phone number in my PNS settings without my OTP Are used to check the PNS settings and always used to remove the settings. Change the settings to my numbers. I also complaint them but I did not got any response. Now they downloaded my services and not providing any kinds of services after Taking it lakh rupees as advance. I request the people do not pay advance for three years. If you want to take the service, make a deal for three years. Get a heavy discount and just be for three months. Take the service done before three months then take the service Just continue like this, never pay advance for even one year to them because any time Deek film download your services and your money will go into the dustbin Only you have one option take legal action on consumer Court and social media platform for the refund of your money Now, all the account manager and the legal officer, Head officer blocked my number, not replying, my email not picking up the phone number, not giving any resolution not giving any answer reason of the calls after taking a large sum of money, they Are protesters never pay them in advance. As I paid I want to re-solution. Either I need the services or either I need my refund of ₹8,00,000 including the rate of interest I had paid all the money through my credit cards I request to help me in this matter as soon as possible
