The grievance redressal mechanism involves four levels within each administrative division:

2. Filing an FIR
When filing an FIR with Kerala Police, include:

If your complaint remains unresolved at the local police station, especially in criminal, serious, or corruption-related cases, take the matter to the Superintendent of Police (SP), also known as the District Police Chief (DPC) in your district.
