Level 1: File a Complaint to Customer Care, LG

As per the customer service and warranty policy of LG, you can register a complaint to LG customer support through the available toll-free helpline number, WhatsApp, email, and online grievance form. Additionally, you can also use social media channels and other communication methods to raise your voice.

These are available communication methods for lodging your complaints related to the electronic products or services of the company:

For business support, call the customer service number 18001809898 or email to b2bsupport.india@lgepartner.com. For SAC call at 18001803575 or email to cac.service@lgepartner.com. For global support, contact the Global Service Network of LG.

Required details to file a complaint with LG:

  • Order ID (for online orders from LG)
  • Warranty Card/Invoice
  • Proof of purchase
  • Nature of complaint
  • Description of the issue by referring to the supporting documents or proof

Level 2: Service Head (MD), LG Electronics India

If the issue is not resolved satisfactorily at Level 1, you can escalate the complaint to the appointed Service Head or the Managing Director (MD) Office of LG Electronics, Inc. You can do this by sending an email or a written complaint letter to the Head Office.

In your complaint, must include the reference/ticket ID of the previously submitted complaint with details of the warranty card, invoice, reason for dissatisfaction, and supporting documents.

For any privacy concerns related to video calls on LG devices, email serviceindia@lge.com with a disputed matter.

For any dispute regarding technical support or repair, visit the nearest LG Service Center or book an appointment online for onsite/home service. You can track the status from the LG repair center page of the LG App or its portal.

Level 3: Consumer Protection Authority

If you find the resolution provided by LG Electronics India unsatisfactory at any stage of escalation, you can appeal against LG to the higher regulatory or appellate authorities in India. Begin by filing a formal complaint online through the E-DAAKHIL platform to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (CDRC) at the district/state/national consumer court.

Before this, lodge an informal consumer to the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) under the Department of Consumer Affairs.

File a complaint:

Additionally, consider these regulatory authorities for relevant disputes:

For matters concerning compliance with regulations concerning electronic devices and related products, including safety, electromagnetic interference, and technical standards, file a complaint with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) or the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) through CPGRAMS PG Portal.

If you are still dissatisfied, you may seek legal advice or assistance from a lawyer or consumer rights organization for further legal action. However, it’s advisable to exhaust all internal channels of complaint registration and escalation provided by LG Electronics Inc. before seeking external intervention.

When issues arise, don’t hesitate to raise the concerns to LG or to escalate the unresolved matter to higher authorities. By following the procedure and keeping a little patience, you can ensure that your grievances are heard and addressed as per the expectation.

L G Refrigerator Non Functional

I hv purchased a L G Ref Model GL - T292RASN. DASZEBN #47703 on 19th October 2018 from Bismi Appliances, Thrissur. The product was running quite ok. But from 5th August 2024 onwards it's freezer is not working and registered a complaint. A service engineer came and told that the compressor had problem. He will send another person but till today no response. The compressor is on warranty period.

Dear Sir/Madam I am the customer of Your LG product of Double door Refrigerator 592lt.ThinQ. bought from Reliance digital Hyderabad, on 26th May, and delivered on 27th May and same day installed by Staish technician, at the time of installation I observed one dent, but he told nothing is their, by touching it not feeling, so nothing is their, so I thought it is my feeling, and he finished his work and got signed from me, but at night in the light and I saw there is big dent on the side of freezer door, I immediately called technician and send photo of that dent, he said oh sorry madam I didn't watch at that time it's my mistake, tomorrow I will come and do the needful from replacement, he came tomorrow and take photos of those two dents and said it will be replaced within two days, I totally believed on him, but day by day is going on I am calling him but everytime, he is postponing with some reasons, but nothing happened, then once he gave me store contact no. to call them, again they postponing and sometime, they gave me another contact no. to call, but that contact is ringing and getting switched off. Again I called Reliance store, but not getting response and got switched off. Now I am moving to directly to LG customer support. I bought my Refrigerator paying with credit card with three instalments of 22K per month. With this big amount I spend on that and everyday everytime, I am seeing that dented Refrigerator, which I bought, feeling very bad and guilty. If I did not agree with that technician and send back immediately, that was correct. Sir pls do the needful in this case as early as possible. Wishing full support from LG team. Thanks

Regarding not attending my LG Refrigerator Repair Complaint VCP240620049275 even after lapse of 12 days to lodge the complaint at LG Customer Care and continuesly calling on daily basis to LG CC.

Respected Sir/Madam, I am writing to you with great dissatisfaction / disappointment that in your esteemed company, no one is presently looking after the consumer grievances even after lapse of 12-15 days from the lodging date i.e. 14.06.2024. I have made complaint on your customer care on dated 14.06.2024 and followed it by calling number of times but it is the matter of great regrets that all the time they just assure me that they are doing work on my complaint and service center engineer will contact you shortly but neither any one has come to attend my complaint nor make any call to me in this regard. This is to bring to your kind notice that i have maximum appliances of LG in my house like TV, Washing machine, Refrigerator and number of times i have availed the repair services provided by LG through your Customer CARE but this time i am totally depressed from your services as till date no one has come to my home to repair my refrigerator. it seems that no one is look after on your service Centers which are making a blur image of your esteemed company in the eyes of your regular customer. i will never purchase any other appliances of LG in future and will never advise to anyone my friend circle or relative to purchase the same by sharing my this very bad experience. Moreover, when i asked your customer care official to take strict action against service center , she just intimated that we can just lodge the complaint and transfer the same to concerned service center and nothing else we can do except this. its really very disappointing statement. Finally once again requesting you to kindly look into the matter personally and take strict action against service center or responsible official so that an example be set for all such incidents.

RNP NO 240619088440. I, Krishna Ghosh, has lodged complaint on 19/06/24 with LG product service (refrigerator), Its been a week since we have requested service from the company, with the above RNP and till now, no solution has been met with. Each time a engineer visits, he passes the baton to some other engineer who does the same again. We have been sitting at home leaving our job expecting someone to turn up with the required maintenance. it has been a huge mistake on our part to buy LG products looking at the kind of service, rather no-service, and we will make sure to warn others about your service quality.

I'm writing to tell you how disappointed I am about the LG cassette AC we bought six months ago. It stopped working a month ago, and the installation team's response hasn't been helpful. Even the LG customer care technicians have been terrible. So, I'm asking you to take back the AC and give us a full refund, including the installation charges.

FRIDGE IS NOT WORKING AND FRIDGING TEMPERATURE IS NOT MAINTAINED

I HAVE PURCHASED A DOUBLE DOOR SIDE BY SIDE FRIDGE (MAKE - LG 16111000000265) (MODEL NUMBER - GC-C247UGUV.AAWQEBN 8 YEARS BACK THE FRIDGE IS UNDER 10 YEARS WARRANTY PERIOD. LAST YEAR THE FRIDGE SUDDENLY BROKE DOWN AND FRIDGING TEMPERATURE WAS NOT MAINTAING. WE RAISED A COMPLAIN AND LG SERVICE ENGINEER CAME TO RECTIFY. AFTER 7 DAYS OF TRY THEY RECTIFIED THE SAME. THE SAME THING HAPPENED NOW AGAIN AND WE UNDERSTAND THAT THAT RECTIFICATION WAS DONE TEMPORARILY. DUE TO THE ABOVE REASON QUESTION ARISES ABOUT THE PRODUCT QUALITY AND SERVICIBILITY.

I have purchased a double door LG refrigerator on 2019. Since then 2 times compressor and gas related issues happened. It is not cooling at all. I have raised a service request on 9th of April, 2024.One person visited and confirmed it is compressor related issue. Compressor warranty is of 10 years. Ideally they should replace the compressor. But no luck. My service request number is RNP240409055104. The service person is not picking up call. LG customer care representatives are equally bad. They were not sharing any ticket number against my call. Very bad product and service
