Approach Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF), TPCODL

If an electricity complaint is not resolved by the TPCODL as per the citizen charter time limit and also approached to level 3 of the grievance system or if unsatisfied with the final resolution then you can lodge a grievance to the Electricity Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF), TPCODL. As per the given guidelines of the Electricity (Regulation) Act, 2003, you will get final redressal within 30 to 45 days by the CGRF forum.

Procedure:

  • View Annexure – V for the application format from official website of TPCODL
  • Provide the following details in the written grievance application form to CGRF, TPCODL:
    • Consumer Number.
    • Complaint reference number (given by licensee or previously registered to TPCODL or CESU).
    • Name and full address of the complainant.
    • Attach copies of the previous complaints that were filed to SDO/EE or another officer (also with copies of the reply, if any).
    • Date since your complaint is pending.
    • Brief description and type of relief of present complaint of issue.
    • The date of the complaint was lodged.
    • Signature of the applicant.
  • Attach the supporting documents and proofs.
