More than 20 lakh customers are getting electricity services from this distribution company in the circles of Balasore, Bhadrak, Baripada, Jajpur Road, and Keonjhar in northern Odisha.

Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, TPNODL in Northern Odisha

If your electricity complaint is still pending but the time limit has expired or you are unsatisfied with the final response or resolution then you can lodge a grievance with the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum, TPNODL. As per the Electricity (Regulation) Act 2003, you have to submit the grievance to the CGRF forum of your circle concerned.

  • Download the CGRF application format:
  • Fill out or write down the application form in the given format of Annexure-V.

File Petition to Electricity Ombudsman, Odisha

Electricity Ombudsman, Odisha is commissioned under the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission as per the Electricity (Regulation) Act, 2003. If your electricity grievance is not redressed within 30 to 45 days or unsatisfied with the final order of the CGRF Forum, TPNODL then you can file a petition to the Electricity Ombudsman within 30 days after the expiry of the resolution period or final order.

Procedure:

  • Download the representation form:
  • Fill out the form or write it down in the given format.
  • Attach a copy of the grievance form that was submitted to the CGRF forum, TPNODL.
  • Attach the final order of the CGRF forum (If available).
    • Note – Keep a copy of the form for yourself.
