Blinkit, owned by Blink Commerce Private Limited, is a quick online commerce platform that delivers groceries and other essentials to customers. It is a part of Zomato, a food delivery company.

Blinkit delivers almost all types of essential items including groceries, dairy products, vegetables, electronics, beauty products, printouts, and phone accessories. Its instant delivery services are currently available in almost all tier 1 (such as Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bangalore) and tier 2 cities.

How to File a Complaint to Blinkit?

As per the customer service policy of Blinkit, the complaint resolution process is divided into two levels. If your initial complaint is not resolved by customer support at level 1, you can escalate it to the next level of authority.

Grievance Redressal:

Registration Fee No Charges (0)
Resolution Period Up to 30 days (It may vary, please read the customer service policy of Blinkit)
Return/Refund Period Within 24 hours (in some cases)
Within 7 days (all goods)

2 Levels of Lodging Complaint:

  • Level 1: Customer Care, Blinkit
    • Toll-free helpline number
    • Email/WhatsApp
    • Register an online complaint
  • Level 2: Escalate the complaint to the Grievance Officer for Blinkit, Blink Commerce Pvt. Ltd.

Furthermore, you may request the customer support team to escalate any unresolved complaints to the Head of Blinkit Customer Service for internal resolution.

Note: If you are dissatisfied with the final resolution provided by Blinkit, you have the option to file a consumer complaint with the National Consumer Helpline of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs (MoCA) for potential violations of consumer rights.

Alternatively, customers can initiate arbitration with the company to internally address the business/consumer dispute through the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism.


Level 1: Customer Care, Blinkit

At this level, For complaints related to products and services from Blinkit, such as online grocery orders, delivery delays, subscriptions for fresh fruits, vegetables, or milk/dairy products, as well as payment methods and charges, you can complain through the toll-free customer support number, email, or WhatsApp.

For faster resolution, consider submitting your complaint online. When registering your complaint, be sure to provide:

  • Order ID
  • Subject of the complaint
  • Warranty Details (if applicable)
  • Detailed description of related matters (e.g., stale/expired products, delay in delivery, payment issue, etc.)
  • Supporting documents such as invoices, images of products/items, etc.

Once you’ve filed a complaint, make sure to record the assigned ticket number for tracking purposes. If the issue persists, you may want to consider escalating it to higher authorities.

In accordance with the IT Act 2000 and E-Commerce Rules 2020, Blink Commerce Private Limited, the parent company of Blinkit, has appointed a Nodal/Grievance Officer to handle disputes related to its E-Commerce Platform. If your initial complaints, including privacy or trademark disputes, are not satisfactorily resolved at level 1, escalate the matter to the designated Nodal Officer at Blinkit.

When submitting your written complaint letter or email, please ensure to include the following details:

  1. Reference/Ticket number of the previous complaint at Level 1
  2. Order ID
  3. Reason for dissatisfaction
  4. Expected resolution from Blinkit
  5. Description of the disputed matter with supporting documents such as images of products/items, invoices, or any other relevant evidence.

I had placed an order for Amul butter, but unfortunately, the product I received was expired. Rude behavior of your delivery boy

I spoke with two of your customer service reps this evening Tues 5/28/24, one name Raquel the other J, both were robotic , unfeeling , unkind , condescending , in attitude and the way they talked to me . Raquel actually acted like i did not know how to unplug something then plug it back in , she kept reading off her script on her computer and never acted human on the entire call , and your rep J the exact same way .. I needed a person to speak to not a robot not a jerk , not someone who could not put themselves in the customers shoes to help them fix their problem..... I do not want to ever speak to either of these individuals again EVER,,, THEY ARE NOT PEOPLE THEY ARE JERKS

Could not place order yesterday due to wrong address given by google.

Yesterday, after filling in login details (Phone: 98XXXXXXX), I selected items for my order and put them in the cart. However, the order was not accepted because the address could not be verified by you. While giving login details, I was asked for Google location which I permitted. However, the result was that the address got mixed up, partially correct as given by me and partially incorrect as inserted by Google on its own. So, the address got all mixed up, irrational, and impractical. My address simply is: B-9/6332, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi - 110070, near Gate No. 2 of Block B, Pocket 9, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110070. Landmark is Opp Bhatnagar International School or Adjacent to B-10 Market. Please correct the address and nullify/cancel the access to Google as the latter is creating problems, and complications. Please confirm that you have done the needful so that I can place my orders. Please confirm by email and NOT on the phone as I have an acute hearing problem and would not be able to hear/understand you on the phone.

Automatic creation of another order while ordering grocery

On 11th April, I ordered the grocery items from blinkit. I only added grocery items, even at the time of checkout, 2 kids related toys were not in my list. I checked it twice... Still these two items were added by blinkit feature itself.. and the other delivery person delivered it at my doorstep.. I don't need these items. I want to return these items.. I am sharing the pictures and order I'd.
