About Jansunwai UP (Samadhan) – Jansunwai is an official online complaint portal of the Uttar Pradesh Government that works on the concept of an integrated grievance redressal system. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh launched it on 25 January 2016. It is dedicated to achieving the goal of Good Governance in the administration system of Ministries/Departments of the Uttar Pradesh government.
The people of Uttar Pradesh can register their complaints about the services of the state government and issues related to government administration, departments, Bhu-Mafia, and Corruption. Jansunwai is a web-based portal where every person can register their complaints against the government department. Let us try to know the eligibility, type of issues, and procedure to register a successful grievance to the concerned department.
File a Complaint to Jansunwai UP
The government of Uttar Pradesh has provided a single platform to lodge complaints about the government services, schemes and complaints of bribery/corruption or activities of Mafias. Citizens can approach at Jansunwai portal (Samadhan) of Uttar Pradesh and can lodge grievances about the issues that they are facing in any services of the government on the state level, district, or panchayat level administration.

Steps to Lodge a Grievance Online
Jansunwai portal of Uttar Pradesh has provided an easy procedure to lodge complaints. You can read all the instructions in the Hindi language. You just need to understand everything in Hindi or follow the instructions that are given below in the simple steps.
Jansunwai Samadhan Procedure:
Step 1: Visit the Jansunwai UP Online Complaint log-in Portal by this link:
- https://jansunwai.up.nic.in/onlineComplaint
- Anti-Bhu Mafia (jansunwai.up.nic.in)
- Report a Corruption (Anti-Corruption Bureau)
Please note: For any technical issues, you can email jansunwai-up@gov.in or jansunwaiup2016@gmail.com with the screenshot of the problem while lodging a grievance on the portal.
Step 2: Now, Enter the Mobile number and captcha. Click on the send OTP button(ओटीपी भेजें)
Step 3: Enter the OTP from the message (ओ०टी०पी० अंकित करें). Finally, click on the Submit button to open the application form.
Step 4: Fill in the Following Details of the Complainant:
- Group/Collective Complaint (सामूहिक शिकायत ) – Click on the box if you want to lodge a group complaint (example – village or society, neighbour, other more than one person) unless leave it unchecked.
- Personal Details – Fill in the Name (नाम), Father/husband Name (पिता/पति का नाम), select the gender (लिंग ), Enter mobile number 2, and E-mail Id (ईमेल).
Step 5: Fill out the Complaint Reference Details:
- Type of Reference/Grievance (सन्दर्भ का प्रकार) – Select the type of reference from the list; Complaint (शिकायत), Demand (मांग), Suggestions (सलाह), Other (अन्य).
- Department (विभाग) – Select the department against which you want to initiate this application. You can check the department and type of complaint below the given list.
- Reference/Grievance/Complaint Category (सन्दर्भ श्रेणी) – Select the type of complaint from the given list, if not available, select other cases (अन्य प्रकरण).
- Detailed Application Form (आवेदन पत्र का विस्तृत विवरण) – Provide detailed information about the issue or complaint. Also, give the information of address, department and concerns in brief. Do not use these (<>`=’~%”*^$&#()~) characters.
Step 6: Provide the Complaint/Demand/Suggestion Area/Address Information (शिकायत/मांग/सुझाव क्षेत्र की जानकारी):
- Region(क्षेत्र) – Select the one option from rural (ग्रामीण) or urban (नगरीय).
- District (जनपद) – Select your district.
- If selected rural: Select these options of your address; Tahsil (तहसील), Block (विकास खण्ड), Gram Panchayat (ग्राम पंचायत), Revenue Gram (राजस्व ग्राम), Police Station (थाना).
- If selected Urban: Select the Type of Urban Region (नगरीय क्षेत्र का प्रकार); Municipal Corporation ( नगर निगम), Municipal Corporation / Municipality ( नगर महापालिका / पालिका), Nagar Panchayat ( नगर पंचायत). Now, Select, District (जनपद), City/Town (नगर), Ward / Mohalla (वार्ड/मोहल्ला), Police Station (थाना).
- Residential Address (आवासीय पता) – Provide the complete address (Permanent or current address) where you live or issue has occurred.
Step 7: Provide the Document of reference and description of old references:
- Pre-reference number (if any) (पूर्व सन्दर्भ संख्या(यदि है तो)) – Click on the box if you have any reference number of the previous complaint. If you don’t have it, keep empty.
- For uploading the application and related documents (आवेदन एवम् सम्बंधित दस्तावेज अपलोड करने हेतु) – Click on the ‘choose file’ to upload the supportive documents. You can upload documents in PDF/JPG/JPEG/PNG format only. The maximum size of the file can be 500 KB.
Step 8: Finally, click on the Save complaint/reference (सन्दर्भ सुरक्षित करें) button. Note down the complaint reference number to track the status of your complaint.
Step 9: Visit to track the complaint status: Track Complaint Status (सन्दर्भ की स्थिति देखें)
Provide the following details to track the status:
- Complaint Reference Number (शिकायत संख्या) – Enter the reference number from the message of your successful submission of your previous complaint.
- Mobile Number or E-mail id (मोबाइल नंबर या ई-मेल आईडी): Enter your registered mobile number or e-mail then enter the captcha.
Finally, click on the submit button (सबमिट करे) and check the status of your complaint.
Step 10: If your complaint is not resolved within the given time period. You can send a reminder or can file a complaint against the resolution.
