File Petition to the Electricity Ombudsman (GERC), Gujarat
The Electricity Ombudsman of Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission, Gujarat takes cases of the electricity issues of the registered licensees and UGVCL is one of the licensees that distribute electricity under GERC, Gujarat. The electricity Ombudsman works as a mediator between the licensee and complainant under the Electricity (Regulation) Act, 2003.
If your grievance is not redressed within 45 days by the concerned CGRF office of UGVCL or unsatisfied with the final decision of the CGRF then you can file a petition to the Electricity Ombudsman of Gujarat against the concerned CGRF of UGVCL.

- The case must be filed within 30 days after the expiry period or final order of CGRF
- The case should not be pending and the final order should not passed by any tribunal or court
