Level 2: Grievance Officer, DTDC

In certain cases, if your lodged complaint about delivery, shipment, or logistics services is not resolved to your satisfaction by DTDC customer care, then you can escalate the complaint to the appointed Grievance Officer of DTDC Express Limited. For this, you can e-mail or write to the corporate office of the company.

Within grievance form, must mention:

Appellate Authority

For the consumer disputes with DTDC Express Ltd, you approach the consumer appellate authority of the government to get compensation. So, if you are not satisfied with the quality of services delivered by the DTDC and the complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, file an informal or formal consumer complaint to the respective authority.

  1. National Consumer Helpline (NACH): If you want to file an informal consumer complaint then call or submit an online complaint against DTDC to the National Consumer Helpline, Ministry of Consumer Affairs.

Note – For disputes related to insurance claims products that are yet not resolved, lodge a grievance to the Insurance Ombudsman, IRDAI with relevant claim details.

Finally, after approaching all the above appellate authorities, you can take legal advice from a legal expert as per your preference. Further, you may take legal action by filing an appeal before the Judicial court.

DAMAGED GOODS ON DELIVERY

This has reference to the consignment No. D89073287 , Goods were transported and handled so poorly that it has damaged the components . hence the goods were still there at DTDC Palase Andrapradesh. This is total careless ness and irresponsibility with the agencies and transporter which has caused the damages ,hence they shall be held for this unprofessional in this profession and to be made to pay the Refund / cost for this goods damage. Non delivery of our documents by your new town hub

Dear Sirs In the begIning of this year I had given a document to your new town, Kolkata office, Mr. Tanmay, phone number an urgent document for UAE, which was inordinately delayed. We had to bear huge port demurrage at Jebel Ali port for that. The gentleman neither responded to our phone calls nor messages in this regard and till date he has not contacted us. Above this he is holding up all our documents with him at new town office and has told my office that he will not deliver the documents or parcels to us. You can check your records that Les Classiques or Shri Narayani Enterprises or Drolia Exports Pvt Ltd all are your old and regular customers. Though after that incident we have told everyone not to send any document or parcel through DTDC, but still sometimes people send by mistake. Right now AWB no. A53358983 was despatched from Morbi couple of days ago, it was showing out for delivery yesterday but till now it has not reached us. We suspect that this consignment might also be held up by him. I request you to look into the matter and arrange to get all our held papers delivered to our office. Hence i request you to take necessary steps to recovers our documents and papers

we sent some important document via express delivery because it has to be delivered on the same date but as i was tracking it via DTDC approved website (there own website) it was showing that the parcel has reached it destination on the same date but they didn't deliver it, even the customer care employees didn't help, every time i contacted them they put my call on hold and then disconnected the call, so if anyone is reading this review i recommend don't waste your money on the express delivery

Non Delivery of Consignment for more than 10 days

Consignment number K43892504 was booked on the 14th and reached Panaji on the 18th. Despite this, it has been unnecessarily delayed at the Panaji branch without any notification or update regarding its delivery to Ponda. As this consignment is crucial for business purposes, its delay is causing significant inconvenience. It is deeply disappointing to see such a lack of urgency and responsibility from the branch executives. Additionally, multiple attempts to contact Customer Care have yielded no satisfactory resolution or acknowledgement of the issue. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by DTDC, a company that claims to be a premium courier service provider.

DTDC consignment not delivered for more than a week even after reaching destination sorting office

My consignment was supposed to be delivered on 9th Oct but is still not delivered. I have called support many a times about the same and every time have been assured that it will be delivered the next day, but nothing was delivered. Many times, I have been informed that they have raised a ticket for the backend team to check and provide an update within 24hrs, but no such calls or emails were received yet. Since this consignment was covered under carrier risk surcharge, the moment I ask them about the process to initiate for this claim, the customer support either keeps saying to wait for a day as a SOP or immediately disconnects the call. This is the most useless and pathetic customer support ever, with they always repeating the same standard operating procedure without understanding the concern. DTDC may as well have kept a recorded voice instead.

I sent some extremely important documents from Kashmir to Delhi through DTDC, and the expected delivery date was September 21, 2024. However, for the past four days, I have been unable to track my parcel due to persistent issues with the DTDC website. The site is constantly down, and despite multiple attempts, there is no way to check the status of my package. This parcel is crucial as it contains documents related to my visa, and any delay or loss could result in the cancellation of my visa. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of service and transparency. If I do not receive any updates soon, I will be forced to file an FIR regarding this issue with DTDC.

My son had booked a packet from Bengaluru vide consignment number V8693357 on Urgent basis, 0n 18/09/2024 which shows as successfully delivered on 19/09/2024 at 8:45 pm. when I called up the customer care the lady told me that it was a fake updation on the dtdc tracking site in terms of "successful delivery" . A company like DTDC is behaving like this.

It has been more than 20+ Days still the Parcel has not been delivered by the DTDC. I have done multiple calls and also raised complaint, still none has taken any action rigorously. The Parcel contains Food related item and DTDC will deliver it/not I don't know but it is almost 20+ Days, the Quality of Food would have gone down, and it is a just a waste of Money and Time. Daily I receive messages from DTDC, morning it is OUT OF DELIVERY and evening COULDN'T be DELIVERED DUE TO HIGHER VOLUMES. When I call up Customer Care and ask for the status of the Delivery, they just say they have escalated but no results so far. I also requested Customer Care to share the Location/Contact Number so that I can only go and pickup my Parcel, they denied sharing this information. Really this is getting frustrated day by day.

Above packet no T29325769 WHICH WAS COURIERED . It was returned with the remarks recipient not available. It is worth while to mention that at this address advocate is staying with family and at this address advocate has her office where always typist , cook , peon are available. Without knowing the fact delivery boy without going at address returned the letter with his imaginary remarks. I am supposed to get consignment 1. R83586593 and 2, B26811822. The tracker comments were not true. One of the messages says - There is no such individual residing in the location. The delivery was never attempted and the response when i approached the branch was rude and arrogant. this happened in the case of R83586593. Second consignment reached yesterday, and deliver was not attempted yet. It took only 24 hours to reach from Bangalore to Mangalore where as its stationary at branch for more than 48 hours unattempted. Ridicules.
