Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is the administration authority to govern Greater Noida situated in Gautam Buddha Nagar District, Uttar Pradesh. Established in January 1991 under the UP Industrial Area Development Act 1976, its primary objective is to serve as a metro center with a planned industrial township in the region of the National Capital Region of India nearby Delhi.

How to Lodge a Civic Complaint to the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA)?

According to the citizen charter of GNIDA, the grievance redressal mechanism is divided into 3 levels. In each tier, an officer is appointed by the authority to resolve the civic complaints.

Finally, if your submitted complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction within the given resolution period by the Greater Noida Authority (GNIDA) then lodge a public grievance to the Public Grievance Cell (Secretary) of the Infrastructure & Industrial Development Department (IIDD), Govt. of Uttar Pradesh to resolve the dispute with authority.


Level 1: Manager (HOD), GNIDA

At level 1, If you want to report the issues related to the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, administration, industrial/residential, and civic services (public utilities such as water, road, electricity, waste management, etc.) within Greater Noida, then lodge a complaint to the concerned Manager or Head of Departments (HOD), GNIDA.

Additionally, citizens can submit a formal grievance letter to the regional office or administrative complex in Greater Noida. When lodging a complaint, include the following details:

Level 2: Nodal Officer, Grievance Redressal Cell (Greater Noida)

If your submitted complaint to the Heads of Departments (HODs) including Senior/ General Managers within the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority is not resolved to your satisfaction, then you can escalate the grievance to the Nodal Officer of the Grievance Redressal Cell at GNIDA.

To address concerns related to civic amenities or properties allocated, including industrial matters pending resolution by respective departments, lodge your complaint by submitting a formal letter at the Reception Counter of the Administrative Building, emailing it, or online web form.

Yet not resolved to your satisfaction within the given resolution timeframe by the Grievance Cell? You may escalate the unresolved case or disputed matter to the CEO of GNIDA Authority.

Please Note: Additionally, lodge a public grievance to GNIDA through Jansunwai UP (Samadhan), an integrated grievance redressal system (IGRS) of Govt. of UP and escalate the case to higher authorities.

FILE RTI ONLINE (UP): File an RTI online under the Right to Information Act to seek information from the respective department through the RTI portal of the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh by selecting the Infrastructure & Industrial Development Department and then Greater Noida Authority (GNIDA). Remember, RTI filing fees of ₹10 will be applicable.


Level 3: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), GNIDA

If your complaints are not resolved to your satisfaction by the Grievance Redressal Cell, then escalate the matter to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GNIDA.

Within the grievance letter, Include:
